Travis T. Mack, Founder & Fund Manager

Mr. Mack is the Founder and Fund Manager of the Greenwood Self Storage Funds, a $25 million-dollar commercial real estate Private Equity fund that was launched in June 2022. The fund takes advantage of his 15 years of experience in the self-storage vertical, acquiring cash flowing "B" market self storage assets, and utilizing facility automation and green initiatives to reduce expenses and drive return for investors. Greenwood is dedicated to providing high quality, private equity investments to a broader more diverse investor group.

In addition to his work with Greenwood, Mr. Mack holds various leadership roles in both the federal government and private sectors. He is the Chairman & CEO of Saalex Corporation, a Federal aerospace and defense contractor generating over $100 million in annual revenues and employing over 800 people nationwide serving the Army, Navy, Air Force, NASA, and Municipal governments. Prior to founding Saalex Corporation, Mr. Mack served in the U.S. Navy for over 7 years, where he earned several accolades as a decorated service-disabled Veteran.

Mr. Mack is also the CEO of Valeo Networks, a commercial Information Technology company focusing on Cybersecurity, cloud solutions, network administration, and security for small and medium-sized businesses. Valeo generates over $20 million in annual revenue and employs over 100 people nationwide. Valeo is backed by the renowned Private Equity Firm Siebert, Williams, and Shank to execute a Mergers & Acquisition consolidation strategy for IT Managed Services Providers.

In 2019, Mr. Mack founded "The Mack Foundation," a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and educational opportunities to kids and underserved communities. The foundation's mission is to break financial barriers for students, provide opportunities and show them that hard work pays off.

Mr. Mack holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business from Webber International University, and completed Executive Leadership Programs at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, HBCU Clark Atlanta University, USC Marshall School of Business, and UCLA Anderson School of Business. He is also a  certified Diverse Asset Manager by the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) and a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt.

  • Tyler Abu is the Marketing & Investor Relations Manager at Greenwood, and is responsible for developing and managing the marketing strategy across digital, experiential, and traditional channels. Tyler also supports investor relations outreach efforts using her experience in business development, client relations, and sales. She holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a BA from the University of Central Florida.

  • Jeffrey Armand is responsible for providing in-depth feasibility analysis for Greenwood's acquisition targets. Utilizing scenario analysis based on investment criteria, he determines optimal acquisition strategies. With over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, Jeffrey has proven skills in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate & Finance from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University.

  • Terence Farmer is a seasoned Data Scientist with over 20 years of leadership experience across various domains including Marketing Analytics, Financial Risk Management, Revenue Management, Statistical Modeling, Customer Segmentation, and Big Data Implementation. His career highlights include roles such as Senior Engineer and Consultant at The Walt Disney Company, Senior Director of Risk Data Science at a FinTech firm, Supervisor of Innovation at Broward County Government, Manager of Analytics at Citrix Systems, and Senior Data Manager at Citibank.

    Terence holds graduate degrees in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, and Applied Mathematics, underscoring his strong academic foundation supporting his extensive professional expertise.

  • Julianna Mack is a Junior Portfolio Asset Manager specializing in financial analysis for acquisitions and portfolio management. Her expertise includes conducting due diligence, risk assessment, and asset management activities. Prior to her current role, Julianna served as an Assistant Analyst at the Congressional Budget Office.

    She is proficient in several analytical tools and software including NVIVO, StatCrunch, Adobe Premiere Pro, R, and Stata, which enhance her ability to perform data-driven financial assessments effectively.

    Julianna holds a B.A. in Economics with a specialization in International Economics from American University, where she was recognized with the Kinsman-Hurst Award for her academic achievements. Her blend of practical experience and academic excellence underscores her capability in financial analysis and asset management.

  • Peter Scheier oversees finance and business operations for Greenwood and its affiliates. With over 20 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager and COO of alternative investment firms, Peter has successfully led the investment and business operations of Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), hedge funds, and family offices. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
